Walk for Peace

I had the rare honor of photographing portraits of the Buddhist monks participating in the Walk for Peace—a 2,300-mile, 120-day journey on foot from Texas to Washington, D.C. Their walk is a quiet offering of kindness, compassion, and mindfulness.

My wife joined me to assist with the portraits. Being among them, receiving a bracelet and a blessing, was a deeply humbling experience.
